A Note on the Name

Zhang de Re

The domain zhangdere.com is a small philosophy joke. Philosophers use the expressions de re and de dicto to distinguish, roughly, between claims about a thing and claims about what is said or described. Combining Zhang with de re produced a memorable domain name for a philosopher named Zhang. No substantive philosophical position should be inferred from the pun.
